Spring is coming just in time

Don't get me wrong... I'm not naive enough to put the canopy up on the gazebo just yet (the threat of snow lingers for one more month), but these early signs of spring are most welcome!

On my recent walks I've spied itty-bitty crocus everywhere reminding me of spring in my first house...

I had moved in during fall and didn't know what the gardens held, but was thoroughly delighted when I found my favorite tiny flower popping up all over my front yard.  After reporting this delightful discovery to my gardener father, I later learned it was he who had planted these bulbs and kept the secret for months while fall turned to winter and winter  to early spring.

Update Monday, March 14th: 

We got 4 sloppy, cold inches of Karmic snow (I had to brag about spring)...
Buddah is no longer talking to me (not that he ever said much).
